We're happy to announce that Project Save Our Homes has a new regional ally in the fight against unjust home foreclosures. A new group in the Chequamegon Bay area called "Save Our South Shore Homes" was launched today at a meeting in Washburn. A group of concerned citizens came together to hear a presentation on Project Save Our Home's work in the Twin Ports, as well as the story of the Butterfield family - a local family in Washburn who are facing foreclosure. The group decided to constitute themselves as a new group to try and save the Butterfield's home, as well as to reach out and help other folks in the area facing eviction.
