Update on Dale's Campaign
Our
campaign to save Dale Schroeder's home from foreclosure is being suspended.
Dale has decided to get married, and will be selling his house and moving in
with his new partner. We respect Dale's decision and wish him the best of luck
with this new chapter in his life. I want to personally thank everyone who
helped with the campaign this past year. And Dale asked that we extend his
sincere thanks to everyone who fought on his behalf.

A big thank you to everyone who turned out on Feb. 23 for our Duluth rally to save Dale Schroedere's house from being foreclosed upon by JP Morgan Chase. We had wonderful weather, wonderful people and we got a wonderful response! This action was the first of a series of protests and other events on Dale's behalf. A photo of the rally will be mailed to the bank.

Sign the Petition to Save Dale's House!
Project Save Our Homes has launched a campaign to save the Proctor home of Dale Schroeder from being foreclosed upon by JP Morgan Chase.
So far the bank has refused to discuss a mortgage modification with Dale Schroeder. Dale consistently made his payments over the past 26 years but interrupted tragically with the death of his wife, with a serious injury on his farm, and more recently losing his leg to diabetes.

Stop the Butterfield Foreclosure!
Chase Home
Finance is trying evict Stacy and Edwin Butterfield of Washburn, Wisconsin.
The Butterfield family has had to shoulder a number of medical problems,
causing them to fall behind on their house payments. But the bank is refusing to take this into
account, and has instead scheduled a sheriff sale of their home for June 5.
Stacy Butterfield has been diagnosed with multiple sclerosis. Edwin, had to stay home from work for several
months due to shingles and a brain aneurysm.
They have three children, ages 1, 4 and 9 - one of whom has down syndrome.

Save Our South Shore Homes Launched!
We're happy to announce that Project Save Our Homes has a new regional ally in the fight against unjust home foreclosures. A new group in the Chequamegon Bay area called "Save Our South Shore Homes" was launched today at a meeting in Washburn. A group of concerned citizens came together to hear a presentation on Project Save Our Home's work in the Twin Ports, as well as the story of the Butterfield family - a local family in Washburn who are facing foreclosure. The group decided to constitute themselves as a new group to try and save the Butterfield's home, as well as to reach out and help other folks in the area facing eviction.
